Short-Term & Transitional Housing
Need a place to stay near campus before transitioning into a permanent residence? Consider making a reservation at The Hotel at the University of Maryland, located on Baltimore Avenue across from the main entrance to campus.
In addition, the University maintains a limited number of apartments at Domain College Park to support new or visiting faculty, staff and scholars. Domain is conveniently located within walking distance of campus at 3711 Campus Drive, College Park (corner of Campus Drive and Mowatt Lane). Apartments are available on a first-come, first-served basis to University faculty, staff and/or departments.

College Park Homeownership Program
The College Park City-University Partnership’s Homeownership Program is part of an effort to increase the number of University of Maryland and City of College Park employees living in College Park. It provides $15,000, in forgivable loans, to full-time, benefits-eligible University and City employees to become homeowners in the City of College Park – ultimately reducing commutes, strengthening neighborhoods, and supporting our local economy.
